About Us
At Hair and Hound we want every dog's grooming experience to be a reasonably enjoyable one. With many of our clients previously having bad experiences, suffering from medical conditions or simply anxious to be groomed; we work hard, with both dog and owner to develop your pet's confidence in the hope, they once again enjoy the grooming experience.
We take a relaxed 'home from home' approach with all clients; your dog is treated as if they're our own with plenty of fusses, treats and play time in the garden. We pride ourselves on our 'Humanity before Vanity' ethos with your dogs welfare being of the utmost importance.
A wealth of experience means we can advise you on how to get the best from your dogs coat as well as the style that best suits your lifestyle to ensure their coat always remains in top condition and matt free.
About Me

Olivia
During a successful career in events I decided to adopt a dog, instead of a dog I got a Mary (also known as Moo, Lady Mooington, PD (pupdog) and the princess) and my life completely changed. I decided to change careers to do something I love, working with dogs. I am City and Guilds qualified and have gained a wealth of experience grooming dogs of differing breeds so you can be assured that I have all the skills required to groom your pet. I have also successful completed a Canine First Responder course so you can have confidence that, should anything happen, your beloved pet is in safe hands. The salon was built by us and has all the latest grooming equipment; the garden is large and spacious with plenty of space for your dogs to run around and play. More recently I have embarked on the biggest adventure of all, motherhood. My son has taught me a new level of patience and has given me a greater appreciation for my business and the work I do. I love dogs and I am pleased to welcome you to our salon and promise to treat your dog with as much love and respect as I would my own.
